Live Wires

       

 

The Live Wires are a group of Senior Adults affiliated with the

New South River Baptist Association. Its purpose is to promote

ministry with senior adults and nurture fellowship among them. 

The Live Wires are involved in supporting shut-ins, going to Senior

Retreats and other cultural performances and conducting activities

in the church that glorify our Lord.

 

Senior Adults are important to God and important at Cumberland
Baptist Church. Whether you are new in town or have lived in
Hope Mills for years, you will find a warm welcome at Cumberland
Baptist Church.
 

    This growing ministry provides Christ-centered activities addressing the spiritual, social and educational

    needs of men and women in the “second half of life.” This rapidly growing segment of our church family

    includes retirees, grandparents, people with adult children, and widows/widowers, all who desire to be

    productive servants of Christ. The Senior Adult Ministry program includes classes, special trips, monthly

    luncheons and programs, studies, and volunteer opportunities.
